Meet the Doctor
Mary Frances Jahnke, D.D.S.
A proud native of Lake Country, Dr. Mary Frances Jahnke is thrilled to bring her family dental practice to her hometown of Oconomowoc. Dr. Jahnke received her Bachelor of Science degree at Marquette University and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota’s School of Dentistry in Minneapolis.
Before launching Jahnke Dental, Dr. Jahnke completed a two-year residency program at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, where she served veterans with comprehensive dental care. There she orchestrated complex treatment plans encompassing all facets of dentistry, notably: the restoration of dental implants, crowns, bridges, root canals, removal of teeth, and the fabrication of removable prostheses such as dentures or partials. Dr. Jahnke is always growing and honing her skill set.
Dentistry and continuing dental education are not only Dr. Jahnke’s passion, they’re also part of her DNA. Her grandfather, Earl Jahnke, was a general dentist outside of Madison. Her late father, Peter Jahnke, was a periodontist (gum specialist) here in Oconomowoc. Dr. Mary Frances learned from the best, seeing firsthand the difference that listening and connection can make for a patient.
Committed to a philosophy of open dialogue, Dr. Jahnke sits down with each new patient to talk about their needs and answer any questions before completing her initial exam. When you come to Jahnke Dental, you can trust that she will be the first face you see.
Dr. Mary Frances Jahnke is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and is active with the Frank Spear Institute for dental education. She not only works in Oconomowoc, she also lives there with her family of four. Spot the whole crew every year in the Halloween Parade, representing Jahnke Dental. When you see them, shout hello!
